CONTENT

 

Senate Bills 509 and 510 would amend Sections 7 and 6, respectively, of the Grain Dealers Act to increase the time allowed by the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development for its issuance or denial of an initial or renewal license. The bill would increase, from not more than 30 days to not more than 60 days, the time the Department has to issue or deny a license from the time it receives a completed application.
