FISCAL IMPACT

The bill would provide for a $476,500 increase in FY 2019-20 General Fund/General Purpose (GF/GP) revenue. This transfer of funds from the Michigan Craft Beverage Council Fund to the State GF/GP budget would apply only during FY 2019-20 and would result in limiting the amount of funding available to the Michigan Craft Beverage Council to offer for grants. This proposed transfer of restricted revenue to the General Fund reflects an agreement between legislative leadership and the administration for the purposes of balancing the FY 2019-20 State budget.
