     A bill to amend 1994 PA 451, entitled

 

"Natural resources and environmental protection act,"

 

by amending section 43535 (MCL 324.43535), as amended by 2013 PA

 

108.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Sec. 43535. (1) Until March 1, 2014, a resident of this state

 

who is 65 years of age or older may obtain a senior small game

 

license, a senior firearm deer license, a senior bow and arrow deer

 

license, a senior bear hunting license, a senior wild turkey

 

hunting license, or a senior fur harvester's license. The fee for

 

each senior license shall be discounted 60% from the fee for the

 

resident license.

 

     (2) Beginning March 1, 2014, a A resident of this state who is

 

65 years of age or older may obtain a senior base license , free of

 

charge. A resident of this state who is 65 years of age or older


may obtain a senior deer license, a senior wild turkey hunting

 

license, or a senior fur harvester's license. The fee for each

 

senior license shall be a senior deer license, a senior wild turkey

 

hunting license, or a senior fur harvester's license is discounted

 

60% 80% from the fee for the resident license.

 

     Enacting section 1. This amendatory act takes effect 90 days

 

after the date it is enacted into law.
