A bill to amend 1979 PA 152, entitled
"State license fee act,"
(MCL 338.2201 to 338.2277) by adding section 33.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
1 Sec. 33. (1) Fees for a person licensed or seeking licensure
2 as a security guard agency or branch office under article 14A of
3 the occupational code, MCL 339.1421 to 339.1443, are as follows:

License fees, per year: |

Branch office............................ 150.00. |
1 (2) The department may adjust the application and license
2 fees under this section every 2 years by an amount determined by
3 the state treasurer to reflect the cumulative annual percentage
4 change in the Detroit consumer price index in the preceding 2-
5 year period and rounded to the nearest dollar. As used in this
6 subsection, "Detroit consumer price index" means the most
7 comprehensive index of consumer prices available for the Detroit
8 area by the bureau of labor statistics of the United States
9 department of labor.
10 Enacting section 1. This amendatory act takes effect 90 days
11 after the date it is enacted into law.
12 Enacting section 2. This amendatory act does not take effect
13 unless all of the following bills of the 97th Legislature are
14 enacted into law:
