CONTENT
The bill would amend the Foster Care and Adoption Services Act to require a supervising agency, before placing a child in its care, to give special consideration to information that the child could be a victim of human trafficking. If it found that the child was or could be a victim of human trafficking, the agency would be required to place the child in a setting that provided mental health, counseling, or other specialized services necessary or appropriate for a human trafficking victim.

FISCAL IMPACT
The bill would have a minimal fiscal impact. It is indeterminate whether the other necessary services referred to in the bill would cost more or less than reunification, adoption, or traditional foster care services.
