A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled
"Public health code,"
(MCL 333.1101 to 333.25211) by adding section 7333b.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec. 7333b. (1) Subject to the requirements of section 7333,
when euthanizing a dog or cat that is under the control of a class
B dealer, a person shall only use an injection of a commercially
prepared solution as provided in section 7333.
(2) As used in this section, "class B dealer" means that term
as defined in section 7333.
Enacting section 1. This amendatory act takes effect January
1, 2012.
