CONTENT
The bill would amend the Revised Judicature Act to specify that an action for damages for personal injury, death, or property damage could not be commenced against a person engaged in a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) business if the injury, death, or property damage were caused by either of the following:
-- An alteration, modification, or repair of an LPG system or appliance made without the knowledge or consent of the person engaged in an LPG business.
-- The use of an LPG system or appliance in a manner or for a purpose other than the manner in which or the purpose for which the system or appliance was intended to be used, unless the person engaged in an LPG business could reasonably have expected the use.
