TEN PERCENT SALARY REDUCTIONS

The concurrent resolution requests the State Officers' Compensation Commission (SOCC), the next time it meets, to recommend a 10% reduction in salaries for legislators, the Governor, the Lieutenant Governor, the Attorney General, and the Secretary of State. Also, the concurrent resolution urges SOCC to ensure that none of its future recommendations exceed the average increase in state employee pay.
