OVERVIEW House Bill 6153 contains $1.7 million in restricted funds from the Commercial Mobile Radio Service Fees to match $1.7 million in Federal Department of Transportation funds for a statewide9-1-1 Internet Protocol (IP) mapping system. This bill would only take effect if House Bill 5622 was also enacted into law. House Bill 5622 allows $1.7 million of the Commercial Mobile Radio Service Fees to be appropriated to the State Police budget for this purpose. |
