“Good and Holy Father, if You will please join us today in this chamber. Help us and give us the knowledge and the wisdom to do what is right for the state of Michigan and, more importantly, the courage to act. We ask that You protect our men and women oversees fighting to protect our country and allow the unemployed and those who are struggling in our state to have better luck and better wisdom, as they look to find a position of employment in Michigan.
We ask these things and so much more of You in Your name, Amen.”
