CONTENT
The bill would amend the Management and Budget Act to require the Department of Management and Budget, in awarding a contract for the provision of services and items needed by State agencies, to give preference to a business entity that had a wellness program in place for its employees, all other things being equal.


Under the bill, "wellness program" would mean a health promotion program offered by an employer to his or her employees.
