BRIEF SUMMARY:

            The bill authorizes the sale of 2 properties that are currently under the jurisdiction of the Department of Management and Budget to Emergent Biosolutions, Inc. for fair market value.  These parcels, located in Clinton County, are adjacent to this facility and are 3.96 and 1.36 acres, respectively.  Fair market value has been determined by an independent real estate appraiser at a combined $413,000 (according to DMB).

           

FISCAL IMPACT:

            Net proceeds from the sale are to be deposited into the state's General Fund.
