BRIEF SUMMARY:

            The bill authorizes the fair market value sale of 19 properties totaling about 272 acres that are currently under the jurisdiction of the Department of State Police.  These parcels, located throughout the state, were originally acquired as radio tower sites and are no longer needed for that purpose.  The respective fair market values have been determined by independent real estate appraisers at a combined $742,700 (according to DMB).

           

FISCAL IMPACT:

            Net proceeds from the sale are to be deposited into the state's General Fund.
