A SUMMARY OF SENATE BILL 83 AS PASSED BY THE SENATE 3-7-08

The bill would amend the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act (specifically, Part 435 which concerns hunting and fishing licensing) to require officials at the Department of Natural Resources to provide a link to the Department of State's voter registration application website so that each applicant who applied for a resident hunting, fishing, or fur harvester's license on the DNR website could also register to vote on-line.
