AN ACT to amend 1994 PA 451, entitled "An act to protect the environment and natural resources of the state; to codify, revise, consolidate, and classify laws relating to the environment and natural resources of the state; to regulate the discharge of certain substances into the environment; to regulate the use of certain lands, waters, and other natural resources of the state; to prescribe the powers and duties of certain state and local agencies and officials; to provide for certain charges, fees, assessments, and donations; to provide certain appropriations; to prescribe penalties and provide remedies; and to repeal acts and parts of acts," (MCL 324.101 to 324.90106) by adding section 74103a.
The People of the State of Michigan enact:
Sec. 74103a. At each state park that contains a designated shooting range that is open to visitors, the department shall post a notice at the entrance to the recreational areas of the state park that states the regular hours of operation of the shooting range. The notice shall be posted in a visible location, and the lettering on the notice shall be of a sufficient type size to be easily read by state park visitors. The department is not required to post the hours of operation in which the shooting range is open for special events. However, if the department does not post the hours of operation in which the shooting range is open for special events, the notice shall include a statement to that effect.
This act is ordered to take immediate effect.
