"Our Heavenly Father, we stand before You today with grateful hearts as You watch over us and this great state. We ask for Your wisdom as we together serve the state of Michigan and each individual we are honored to represent. We also pray for the brave men and women who are serving our country around the world. I especially ask that You watch over the 107th Michigan National Guard Quartermaster Battalion. These brave soldiers from the Jackson area personify the kind of commitment and dedication that makes our military the pride of our nation. We also pray for the families left behind. Please cover them with Your protection and Your love. Amen."
