A bill to amend 1919 PA 339, entitled
"Dog law of 1919,"
(MCL 287.261 to 287.290) by adding section 14a.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec. 14a. When issuing a dog license pursuant to section 14,
the county treasurer, city clerk, city treasurer, or township
treasurer shall also provide information to the dog owner regarding
both of the following:
(a) Microchip implantation and registration for dogs.
(b) Tattoo identification and registration for dogs.
