A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 5278 AS INTRODUCED 10-11-05

The bill would amend the Dog Law of 1919 to require local officials, when issuing a dog license, to provide the dog's owner with information on microchip implantation and tattoo identification for dogs.

The bill would have no fiscal impact on the state and an indeterminate fiscal impact on local units of government.
