SUBSTITUTE FOR

SENATE BILL NO. 505

                                                                             A bill to amend 1994 PA 451, entitled                                             

"Natural resources and environmental protection act,"                       

(MCL 324.101 to 324.90106) by adding section 11527a.                        

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

1   Sec. 11527a.  (1) The department shall post on its website a                

2   list of materials prohibited from disposal in a landfill under              

3   section 11514 and appropriate disposal options for those                    

4   materials.                                                                  

5       (2) A solid waste hauler that disposes of solid waste in a                  

6   landfill shall annually notify each of its customers of the                 

7   materials that are prohibited from disposal in a landfill under             

8   section 11514 and appropriate disposal options for those                    

9   materials.  The notice shall include a copy of the information              

10  posted on the department's website under subsection (1).

11      Enacting section 1.  This amendatory act does not take                      

1   effect unless all of the following bills of the 92nd Legislature            

2   are enacted into law:                                                       

3       (a) Senate Bill No. 98.                                                     

4       (b) Senate Bill No. 497.                                                    

5       (c) Senate Bill No. 498.                                                    

6       (d) Senate Bill No. 500.                                                    

7       (e) Senate Bill No. 502.
