SENATE SUBSTITUTE FOR

HOUSE BILL NO. 5491

                                                                             A bill to amend 2001 PA 142, entitled                                             

"Michigan memorial highway act,"                                            

(MCL 250.1001 to 250.1100) by adding section 1080.                          

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

1   Sec. 1080.  The portion of highway I-94 beginning at exit 98                

2   in Calhoun county and continuing east to exit 110 in Calhoun                

3   county shall be known as the "Underground Railroad Memorial                 

4   Highway".

5       Enacting section 1.  This amendatory act does not take                      

6   effect unless Senate Bill No. 241 of the 92nd Legislature is                

7   enacted into law.
