A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 4324 AS INTRODUCED 3-11-03

House Bill 4324 would amend Public Act 156 of 1851, which defines the powers and duties of county boards of commissioners, to specify that the members of a county board of commissioners could, at a lawfully held meeting, grant or loan funds that were not derived from ad valorem taxes to a nonprofit corporation that was organized for the purpose of providing loans for private sector economic development initiatives.
