        A bill to amend 1994 PA 451, entitled

   "Natural resources and environmental protection act,"

   by amending section 43536a (MCL 324.43536a), as added by 1996

   PA 585.

               THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

             Sec. 43536a.  A person described in section 43506(3)(d) who

 2
        is stationed outside of this state may obtain any license under

 3
        this part for which a lottery is not required for $1.00 upon pre-

 4
        sentation of leave papers, DUTY PAPERS, MILITARY ORDERS, OR OTHER

 5
        EVIDENCE ACCEPTABLE TO THE DEPARTMENT VERIFYING THAT HE OR SHE IS

 6
        STATIONED OUTSIDE OF THIS STATE.  The license  shall be  IS valid

 7
        for a period of up to 2 weeks designated by the person but only

 8
        during the season in which such a license would otherwise be

 9
        valid.
