        A bill to amend 1943 PA 183, entitled

   "County zoning act,"

   by amending section 27a (MCL 125.227a).

               THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

           Sec. 27a.  (1) A zoning ordinance or zoning decision shall

 2
      not have the effect of totally prohibiting the establishment of a

 3
      land use within a county in the presence of a demonstrated need

 4
      for that land use within either the county or surrounding area

 5
      within the state, unless there is no location within the county

 6
      where the use may be appropriately located, or unless the use is

 7
      unlawful.

           (2) A COUNTY SHALL NOT BE REQUIRED TO HAVE MORE THAN 20% OF

 9
      THE COUNTY'S DWELLING UNITS LOCATED WITHIN MOBILE HOME PARKS.

           Enacting section 1.  This amendatory act does not take

      effect unless all of the following bills of the 91st Legislature

 3
      are enacted into law:

           (a) Senate Bill No. _____ or House Bill No. 4063 (request

           (b) Senate Bill No. _____ or House Bill No. 4062 (request
