        A bill to amend 1949 PA 300, entitled

   "Michigan vehicle code,"

   by amending section 58b (MCL 257.58b).

               THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

           Sec. 58b.  "Security interest", "security agreement",

 2
      "secured party", "debtor", "financing statement", and

 3
      "termination statement" as used in this act  have the same mean-

 4
      ings as are  MEAN THOSE TERMS AS defined  therefor  in
    Act No.

      174 of the Public Acts of 1962, as amended, being sections

 6
      440.1101 to 440.9994 of the Compiled Laws of 1948  THE UNIFORM

 7
      COMMERCIAL CODE, 1962 PA 174, MCL 440.1101 TO 440.11102.
