        A bill to amend 1877 PA 67, entitled

   "An act relative to the organization of the meetings of the
   legislature,"

   (MCL 4.41 to 4.46) by adding section 2a.

               THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 1         SEC. 2A.  EACH DAILY SESSION OF EACH HOUSE OF THE LEGISLA-

 2    TURE SHALL BEGIN WITH A RECITATION OF THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO

 3    THE FLAG OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
