CONTENT


The bill would amend the Michigan Vehicle Code to exempt a police officer operating an authorized emergency vehicle from the Code's provisions that require vehicle indorsements on an operator's or chauffeur's license when a driver operates certain vehicles. The Code currently exempts fire fighters operating authorized emergency vehicles who have met the driver training standards of the Michigan Fire Fighters' Training Council.
