CONTENT
The bill would amend the Library Privacy Act to specify that, if a library offered Internet access services to the public, its governing body could authorize or require that the library restrict access to minors. A library could restrict access by making available to persons of any age one or more Internet access computer terminals that were restricted from receiving obscene or pornographic material, and by reserving one or more Internet access computer terminals that were not restricted from receiving any material for persons who were at least 18 years old or were under 18 and accompanied by a parent or guardian.
"Internet" would mean a matrix of networks that connected computers around the world.
