CONTENT


The bill would amend the Freedom of Information Act to prohibit a public body from disclosing the home address and home telephone number of a person employed by the public body as a teacher, unless that person expressly consented to the disclosure.


In addition, the bill would require a public body to exempt from disclosure information that, if released, would prevent the public body from complying with Federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act. Currently, a public body is permitted to exempt this information from disclosure as a public record.
