A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 5342 AS INTRODUCED 2-10-00


Currently, the Michigan Vehicle Code allows someone who has been a prisoner of war to apply for a special license plate with "ex-POW" and "ex-prisoner of war" on it. The bill would amend the vehicle code to allow, in addition, the spouse of someone who had been a prisoner of war to apply for such a license plate.
