A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 5265 AS INTRODUCED 2-2-00

Currently, a provision of the Michigan Gaming Control and Revenue Act, which regulates the three Detroit casinos, allows ATMs to be placed inside casinos as long as the machines are located at least 50 feet from slot machines, table games, or any other games. House Bill 5265 would amend the act to prohibit a casino licensee from placing an ATM on the premises of a casino.
