A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 5188 AS INTRODUCED 12--9-99

House Bill 5188 would amend the Revised School Code to require that the State Board of Education set rules to specify the minimum amount of computer training necessary to receive an acknowledgment of computer training on a teaching certificate. The bill also would require the board to provide that acknowledgment for all new or renewing applicants seeking certification when they demonstrate they have met the requirement. (Note: House Bill 5188 is identical to House Bill 4049 introduced earlier in this legislative session.)
