A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 5103 AS INTRODUCED 11-4-99


The bill would amend the labor mediation act (Public Act 176 or 1939) to prohibit employers or their agents, including security guards, from harassing individuals lawfully engaged in a strike and from carrying or displaying a firearm in the presence of strikers. In addition, the bill would prohibit employers' agents, including security guards, from leaving their employer's property within the course of performing their duties.
