A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 4968 AS INTRODUCED 10-7-99


The bill would amend the Public Health Code to prohibit both a person who was licensed or registered as a health care professional and a health facility or agency from disclosing genetic testing information or information regarding the genetic composition of a patient without first obtaining the patient's written consent.
