A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 4649 AS INTRODUCED 5-11-99


Part 401 of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act (NREPA) regulates wildlife conservation, including the taking of game. House Bill 4649 would add a new provision to the act to permit the use of mechanical devices for spreading deer bait in situations where a person could legally scatter bait by hand, or by a device that was operated exclusively by human power.
