A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 4609 AS INTRODUCED 5-4-99

House Bill 4609 would amend the act that provides for intermunicipality committees, to require that an intermunicipality committee obtain an audit of its financial records, accounts, and procedures not less frequently than once every two years. The bill would require that the committee submit the results to the state treasurer, and that the audit met all requirements set forth in the Uniform Budgeting and Accounting Act.
