     February 19, 1998, Introduced by Reps. McBryde, Oxender, Gilmer, Geiger, Jansen, Johnson, Godchaux, Bobier, Bankes and Jellema and referred to the Committee on Appropriations.


        A bill to make appropriations for the department of state police and

   certain other state purposes for the fiscal year ending September 30,

   1999; to provide for the expenditure of those appropriations; to provide

   for certain reports and the consideration of those reports; to provide

   for the disposition of other income received by the various state agen-

   cies; to provide testing of certain persons; to provide for certain emer-

   gency powers; and to provide for the powers and duties of certain commit-

   tees, certain state agencies, and certain employees.
