        A bill to amend 1956 PA 218, entitled

   "The insurance code of 1956,"

   by amending section 7312 (MCL 500.7312).

               THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 1         Sec. 7312.  The RANGE OF rates of every title insurer shall

 2    be filed pursuant to the applicable provisions of chapter 24.

 3    TITLE INSURER RATES FOR TITLE INSURANCE ISSUED ON PROPERTY OTHER

 4    THAN RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY SHALL BE NEGOTIABLE.
