CONTENT


The bill would amend the Revised School Code to delete the requirement that a teacher have taught at least three years within a school district in order to receive his or her salary for up to one year while teaching in another state, a foreign country, or a territory of the United States in exchange for the services of a teacher of another state, a foreign country, or a U.S. territory. The bill would require, instead, that the teacher be employed by the school district.
