The bill would amend Public Act 58 of 1945, which authorizes county boards of commissioners to establish and maintain parking lots, to delete the $10 limit on fines for violating county parking lot violations.
MCL 46.201 Legislative Analyst: L. Arasim
This bill would eliminate the $10 limit on civil fines for violating parking regulations. Counties that implement civil fines above $10 would increase the revenue collections from parking violations.
