SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 5402 as passed by the House:

The bill would repeal Enacting Section 2 of Public Act 158 of 1988, which provides for a January 1, 1996, sunset on an exemption from the requirements of the Open Meetings Act for the Public Service Commission when it is deliberating the merits of a case. The bill would repeal the sunset provision and retain the exemption.
