SENATE SUBSTITUTE FOR

HOUSE BILL NO. 5782

     A bill to amend 2001 PA 142, entitled

"Michigan memorial highway act,"

(MCL 250.1001 to 250.2080) by adding section 17a.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

     Sec. 17a. The portion of highway US-23 in Presque Isle County

beginning at the easternmost intersection of highway US-23 and

Evergreen Highway and extending west to the westernmost

intersection of highway US-23 and Evergreen Highway shall be known

as the "Major Andrew Becker USAF Memorial Hwy".
