House Bill 4480 as introduced
Sponsor: Rep. Abdullah Hammoud
Committee: Transportation and Infrastructure
Complete to 2-8-18
House Bill 4480 would amend the Michigan Vehicle Code to specify that a person may not operate a motorcycle or moped equipped with handlebars that are higher than 30 inches from the lowest point of the undepressed saddle to the highest point of the handle grip of the operator.
Currently under the Code, a person may not operate on a public highway of this state a motorcycle or moped equipped with handlebars that are higher than 15 inches measured from the same points.
The bill would have no fiscal impact on the state or local governments.
