CONTENT

 

The bill would amend Part 487 (Sport Fishing) of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act to eliminate provisions allowing the use of specific types of nets to take fish and prescribing the conditions under which they may be used; and instead authorize the Department of Natural Resources to issue an order to regulate the taking of fish with nets in Michigan waters.
