CONTENT
The bill would amend the Michigan Memorial Highway Act to designate US-31, between I-196 in Allegan County and M-45 in Ottawa County, the "Medal of Honor Recipients Highway".
The Michigan Department of Transportation would have to work with local veterans organizations to develop a separate sign bearing the names of Lieutenant Colonel Matt Urban, Corporal John Essebagger, Jr., Sergeant Gordon Yntema, and Sergeant Paul Ronald Lambers, that could be posted at or near the memorial signage identifying the highway.
