388.1875a Construction or maintenance of self-liquidating project; finance requirements.Sec. 275a.
Funds appropriated in section 236 shall not be used by a public university to pay for the construction or maintenance of a self-liquidating project. A public university shall comply with the current use and finance requirements of the joint capital outlay subcommittee (JCOS) for any construction, renovation, or other capital outlay projects pursuant to JCOS policy. The appropriation in section 236 for a public university that fails to comply with JCOS reporting requirements shall be reduced by 1% for each violation.
