388.1626b Payments in lieu of tax obligation; prorated payments to districts, intermediate districts, and community college districts.Sec. 26b.
(1) From the appropriation in section 11, there is allocated for 2012-2013 an amount not to exceed $3,328,000.00 for payments to districts, intermediate districts, and community college districts for the portion of the payment in lieu of taxes obligation that is attributable to districts, intermediate districts, and community college districts pursuant to section 2154 of the natural resources and environmental protection act, 1994 PA 451, MCL 324.2154.
(2) If the amount appropriated under this section is not sufficient to fully pay obligations under this section, payments shall be prorated on an equal basis among all eligible districts, intermediate districts, and community college districts.
