THE MICHIGAN PENAL CODE (EXCERPT)
Act 328 of 1931


750.568 Saving section.

Sec. 568.

Saving section—All proceedings pending and all rights and liabilities existing, acquired or incurred, at the time this act takes effect, are hereby saved, and such proceedings may be consummated under and according to the law in force at the time such proceedings are or were commenced. It is the legislative intent that this act shall not be construed to alter, affect or abate any pending prosecution, or prevent prosecution hereafter instituted under such repealed sections, chapters or acts for offenses committed prior to the effective date of this act; and all prosecutions pending at the effective date of this act, and all prosecutions instituted after the effective date of this act for offenses committed prior to the effective date of this act may be continued or instituted under and in accordance with the provisions of the law in force at the time of the commission of such offense.
